A Quilt For Me!

I've been hoarding vintage sheets since 2007 with no idea what I would do with them.  One day I bought a beautiful banner from happy little cottage on etsy made from vintage sheets and when I saw how plain and white it made my bed look, I decided that I needed to make a quilt!  I'm not done quilting it yet, but I love it!

Of course, after it was sewn up I found MORE vintage sheets at Goodwill that I wish I had had when I sewed up the quilt, but isn't that always the way?  That's okay- more projects for the future.

In other news, I am having so much fun getting ready for my first fair!  It's the Magnolia Marketplace and it will be September 14th- I have so much to gather and re-furb before then, but that's okay.  I'm loving every moment!

Also, just want to show you the hoops I hung on the blank wall next to my bed.  I used leftover sheets (of course!) plus my favorite hoop that I bought from this lovely lady.
