Doing Good

Do you know about baby Ava Grace? She was born in February and when I read about her, I knew I wanted to help out. This little sweetheart was born with Pfeiffer Syndrome and has a lot of surgeries in her future. Some of my crafting friends are hosting an auction to raise funds for her. The image below is a clickable link that will take you directly to the specifics. I am working on a fun project to donate to the auction. Little glimpses of my contribution can be seen in the photos of Nurse Nancy down below.

Nurse Nancy also likes to "do good". She was commissioned by my dear SIL, Deb, as a gift for her grandmother who has been ill. I hope Nancy is able to give effective treatment. She's pretty cute, I think!

She was made with the pattern for Character and Costume Dolls in "Dolls to Make for Fun and Profit" by Edith Flack Ackley. Of course! I made this EFA in one day! I think that's a record for me. I do hope she is able to bring some cheer to her new owner.

So, that's how my weekend is going- pretty near to perfect I would say! I hope you are all having a great weekend too.
