Yesterday I read this wonderful post on Knitting Iris and it just touched me so much. It is a post about "shaking things up" at Christmas and not getting so hung up on traditions. This has definitely been one of those years where I've had to do exactly that! There were many holiday activities that have not occurred this past week and it's really okay. I'm sure we will always remember this year as the year of the bathroom drama! (It's almost done now, btw!)
I will probably not be posting again until after Christmas. It seems that many of us in Bloglandia are signing off for the next few days. It makes me feel a little wistful and I am holding such love in my heart for my virtual friends right now. I wish you all, those who I know in person and those who I know only through this computer, a joyful holiday. One that is full of laughter, good friends, great food, hugs, and kisses under the mistletoe! See you again soon!
A very merry christmas to you too, Bettsi. All the best to you and your family! xoxox
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!!
ReplyDeleteBettsi, ENJOY your time with family and friends. We had old friends over Wed. night for *lamb lasagna* and Minor (a retired cardiologist) brought games for us to play. So when you say laughter, good friends, great food and hugs .. it's already started for us. Just missing the mistletoe! ha! Merry Christmas to your family.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Bettsi! Enjoy your time with family!
