Hurray! I finished!

I am so proud of myself! With Earl's injured foot, I never thought I'd actually get these done, but I did! I spent most of Saturday helping Earl with projects he wanted to get done, but on Sunday, I sewed. Each little girl's gift is comprised of the purse, the kanzashi pin and the bracelet. I'm happy with how it all turned out.
A close up of my favorite flower. It had been a while since I made these. The first couple are a little wonky, but I love this green one. Below is a pretty good shot of one of the bracelets. They were really fun to make. Each one has an assortment of vintage buttons with an extra addition of colorful beads.

I tried and tried to get a good photo of this button. This was the best I could do. I sewed the button on with green thread in an arrow shaped pattern and at the end I added the little flower shaped bead. Pretty cute, huh? Now I just need to get my rear in gear and mail them off!

Oh, and I have a kitty photo from a couple of weeks ago. This is Francis. When he was a baby we thought he was a girl and that (s)he looked like Frances the Badger so that's how he got his name. I think this is his first time on the blog even though we've had hime for years. He's a good sewing companion as you can see.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and got to do the things they wanted to!
